This design was lurking in my mind for weeks until I had an opportunity to make it a reality. I think it worked out very well. The Byzantine chain in 4mm rings connects large 8mm rings which have the cluster of spikes hanging from them, reminiscent of a Tiwaz rune. It can be worn long as shown in the pictures or it can be worn shorter as a choker by simply connecting the parrot clasp tighter. The matching earrings were an after thought which occurred to me when I'd finished the necklace and found myself with a few spikes left over... and I'll add them in free with the necklace if you purchase it.
