Valknot Pendant version 4
The Valknut was used to represent the Einhajer, the Norse and Viking warriors fallen in battle. The symbol was often used on burial memorials, on warriors’ shields and armor, and was also used in relation to Odin, the All-Father god who was also responsible for accepting the fallen warriors into Valhalla. This pendant has the central Valknot surrounded by Jormungandr, the world serpent, chasing his own tail. Hidden on the back of the pendant is a Vegvisir, or compass stave, to help prevent the wearer from getting lost... or perhaps it's helping the pendant not to get lost...?
The pendant comes with a sturdy stainless steel chain, a protective pouch and a wood deiplay/gift box.
